


A few more cool avian pictures. I got lost in the grasslands and flushed a harrier out. It had caught a vole or a field mouse and I was disrupting its dinner:

This is a rare Gray Hawk, found in US only along the lower Rio Grande. We actually saw a pair, and they were building a nest:
