My bobcat
Well, I don't think any cat can be said to be anybody's, but this one sure behaved this way for at least a few minutes. A friend from NJ Audubon alerted me to a place in Delaware Water Gap where there've been recent sightings of bobcats. I've tried it a few times, and finally just a few days ago met one! It came onto the trail just a few yards away from me. But rather than run away, it sat down and posed for me there for good 10 minutes, even as I was inching closer trying to get clearer pictures. When it eventually moved, it was to chase some bird into the bush.
